OUR SPEECH SERVICES

Spring Into Speech provides individualized speech therapy services to address a diverse range of speech and language disorders. Each treatment plan is specifically designed to meet the patient’s needs, following evidence-based practices and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association guidelines.

We are dedicated to serving the whole child, we also provide academic tutoring and social skills groups to continue our student’s overall growth and success.

 
 

SPEECH THERAPY

Tutoring

Spring Into Speech is proud to offer Club Can, academic tutoring from licensed educators and special educators. We believe every child CAN learn, grow, and succeed. We provide:

EVALUATIONS

Spring Into Speech offers comprehensive evaluations that are conducted in the child's home. An evaluation assesses receptive & expressive language, speech, and oral motor skills. After the assessment is completed you will be given a report documenting the findings, recommendations and sample speech and language goals, if appropriate. 

 

Social Skills Groups

Spring Into Speech offers social skills groups co-led by a speech-language pathologist and a licensed special educator. Teaching social skills and providing strategies for connection are crucial for helping kids build meaningful relationships, navigate social challenges and confidence in their interactions. We are currently enrolling groups in Howard and Montgomery County. These 7-week sessions are grouped based on age and skills.

COLLABORATIVE APPROACH

We believe in a collaborative approach and feels as though working together is key. We are more than willing to collaborate with professionals (e.g., other therapists, school, etc.) to help your child be successful in all environments. Parent collaboration is important as well, especially at early ages.

TEAM & IEP MEETINGS

Our team is willing to partake in meetings at your child’s school. We have a thorough understanding of the Maryland public school special education system and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process. We can serve as an advocate for your child and help them get the services they need and deserve in order to be successful. We are also available for home and school based conferences.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Spring Into Speech is an out-of-network provider in Maryland. Speech services are frequently covered by out-of-network benefits. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company prior to starting services to verify your out-of-network coverage. You will be provided with an invoice after each speech session that includes the diagnostic and treatment codes.
